The idea for this is nice, nothing greatly original but its an attempt to try something different. Two video game nerds stand side by side in some nice art and discuss video games.
Their tone as they do this is often sarcastic and sardonic, the voice acting is done really well in this respect and there is no distortion which makes it even more enjoyable.

Not bad, the presentation is well done with snippets like 'footage' and pictures from the games while they discuss it and the music at the credits is funny which gives it a nice ending.

This was very artistic. The drawings were all in black and white and moved slightly, giving it a feeling of turning paper over with different graphics on each page. The drawings very very well done and looked semi-real, suggesting the sketches were done on the actual person or thing. This really helped to aid the idea of a self-portrait.
The premise for the flash was original and the way it was carried out was brilliant; soft acoustic guitar music melted into the background, picking up at the end to be given some vocals.
The music throughout though, really helped to paint a visual picture of the flash artist's life, not a whole lot of key points were put into the flash but it was easy to tell that ones mentioned in this flash had an impact on them.
The style really wrapped around as 'simplistically brilliant'.

A nice flash, the art and the idea worked well along side the music to really deliver a thought provoking flash piece. One thing which was extremely disappointing was the music at the end with its vocals, they didn't fit in well and the concluding line made no sense.

This was nothing great and nothing too bad. The animation was nice, though a little stiff. It did go well with the sticks though. speaking of sticks however, they didn't really add anything to the animation. They were simply, stiff sticks; it would have been better without them.
The sound was heavily distorted which was annoying, it could have been much clearer.

Not TOO bad, the animation was choppy but the premise was original and it told an actual story. A resounding six.

This didn't look like a trailer that much, it didn't build up the flash it comes before. The text didn't work at all that well and there was a lack of any animation. the only redeeming quality was the music an the art which both mixed in well together.

A terrible trailer with no animation, only some pictures with transition. It also has no real meaning.

This shows some nicely animated walking and running, the characters themselves are also very well done and have some nice detail applied to them.

A nice display of animation and art but in no way any sort of flash cartoon.

This was a poorly done flash, the game is played top down and the graphics are bland and uninspiring. The rocks are just grey and have no dimension, added to the stiffness of controlling the skateboard and it feels sluggish.
Another thing which was annoying were jumps, in order to do a trick you had to click on a button that appeared on the screen, just awkward.

::Overall::
Even for the year this could have been better, there was no music and it moved too slow and had no depth. If a version two ever came it would have to pay attention to these problems in order to achieve anything.

This was a very different sort of flash. There was no sound and everything that was 'spoken' was delivered through text next to the character's head.
The presentation was charming enough, it was simple but there was some nice colour and detail- even if a little sloppy in places.
As the flash progressed it got a little odder and odder (though the plot to begin with with odd), finally concluding with a random ending.

::Overall::
An original idea even if a little weird expanded upon. There's no sound and everything is either tweened or frame by framed, the style was nice but it didn't move as fluently as it could have.

This is a simple fight scene between two sticks. The different colours between the two helped them to be identified, a nice consolation over black being primary with sticks.
The syncing with punches and yells seemed just a bit off but it was well choreographed and the ending was nicely animated.

::Overall::
A standard stick flash, some improvement could be had in the syncing, fighting longevity and possibly effects to make it interesting.

This was a well done and presented trailer. The music was enthralling and mysterious combined with some mystique about it. It really helped to convey a sense of adventure and magic within the flash.
As usual, trailers have text fading in and out, giving out half the story. This was no exception and some nice, great looking text helped to build up the story and give the whole trailer a sense of foreboding.
The graphics themselves were brilliant, well done and proportioned; it looked very professional, very much so like proper anime shows.

::Overall::
A great trailer, it shows little animation but it gives a great insight into the mystery of the upcoming show. The premise is original and creates some hype around it because of the way this is delivered.

This was highly inventive, the idea of splicing voices was nice and in this flash it reached a high performance. the colours were nice and the art was brilliant, mixing in well with everything. It really did look like Bush and Busey but cartoon animated.
The voices were well done, lip-synced that is; actually surprising. The dialogue was a bit weird but it worked. The opening and ending were both great, giving it a real Japanese and childish feel. it worked well.

A great animation, well lip-synced, premised and animated.
